Standout Startup.

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 24 July 2026

1. Who we are

These terms apply to the EOFY Bookkeeping Sprint and related products offered by Standout Startup (Bethany Holt, Registered BAS Agent, ABN 82 348 816 034) — "we", "us", "our". By purchasing or taking part, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't purchase.

2. What you're buying

The EOFY Bookkeeping Sprint is a 3-week live group education program delivered online via Microsoft Teams, together with supporting materials — the workbook, checklists, the "What Can I Claim?" cheat sheet, and a bookkeeping template (Google Sheet and/or Airtable). You also receive access to the session recordings.

The Sprint is teaching and general guidance to help you organise your own books. It is not personal tax or financial advice, and not the provision of BAS services on your behalf (see our Disclaimer).

3. Payment

Prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and payment is handled at checkout through MailerLite, with card processing by Stripe. Your place is confirmed once payment is received.

4. Refunds

Refunds are available right up until the first live session begins. If you change your mind before we start, just email me at [email protected] and I'll refund you in full, no fuss.

Because this is a live program and the materials, templates and recordings become available to you from the start, we can't offer refunds once the first session has begun. This does not limit any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

5. Sessions, recordings and changes

Sessions are recorded and shared with participants — including anyone who missed a session live. By attending, you understand the session is being recorded and distributed to the group. If you'd prefer not to appear, simply keep your camera and microphone off — you can ask questions by email instead.

We may occasionally need to reschedule a session. If we do, we'll let you know by email and make sure you get the recording.

6. Community & confidentiality

This only works if everyone looks after each other. By joining, you agree to keep what's shared in the group private, to treat other participants with respect, and not to share other people's information or the recordings outside the group. Please read our Privacy Policy for simple ways to keep yourself safe in a group setting.

7. Your templates & materials — what you can and can't do

When you join, you receive a personal licence to use the templates, workbook, guide and other materials for your own business only. You may keep and use them for as long as you like.

You may not resell, sub-licence, share, redistribute, publish or give away the templates or any other materials, in whole or in part, whether for free or for payment. They remain the intellectual property of Standout Startup.

8. Acceptable use

Please use the program honestly and lawfully, and don't do anything that disrupts the sessions or harms other participants. We may remove someone from the program for a serious breach of these terms (for example, sharing the recordings or being abusive) — without a refund where the breach happens after the program has started.

9. Using this website

A few simple house rules for the website itself (standoutstartup.com):

It's general information. Everything on this website is here for your general information and can change from time to time without notice. We try hard to keep it accurate, but we can't promise it's always complete or error-free — so please don't treat it as your only source, and check anything important against your own situation.

The website is ours. The content, design, layout, look and graphics of this site are owned by or licensed to Standout Startup. You're very welcome to read and use the site as intended — just please don't copy, reproduce or republish any of it without our okay. Any trademarks shown that aren't ours belong to their respective owners.

Links to other places. Now and then we link out to other websites to be helpful. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or availability, and a link isn't an endorsement — so pop over to them at your own risk.

Please use it kindly and lawfully. Only use this website for lawful purposes and in the spirit it's meant. Misusing it — trying to copy, break or disrupt it — isn't on, and unauthorised use may be against the law.

Cookies. Like most websites, ours may use cookies to see how the site's being used and to make your visit nicer. There's more detail in our Privacy Policy.

Looking out for each other. To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover us for any claims, losses or costs — including reasonable legal costs — that arise from the way you use this website.

These terms can change. We may update these terms now and then. If you keep using the website afterwards, that means you're happy with the changes.

Keeping it running. We do our best to keep the site up and running, but sometimes things go offline for reasons outside our control. We can't promise it'll always be available, and we're not liable if it's temporarily down.

10. Liability

The Sprint is education, not personal advice, and your results depend on your own records and effort. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any loss arising from decisions you make based on the general information provided.

Your use of this website and any information or materials on it is entirely at your own risk, and it's up to you to make sure anything you get from it suits your needs.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
